2010 ASA Winter Festival Performer Bio’s
Pieter T in association with Chong-Nee brings to you his new track ‘Something Else’.
With his fresh sound and the highest quality production from Kog Studios, ‘Something Else’ aims to please the ears and the R’n’B soul. Also including the instrumental and a-capella for music beds and DJ use.
Pieter T is in the final stages of recording and mixdowns at Kog Studios for his upcoming album ‘Life, Love and Lessons’.
He’s collaborating with all the Aotearoa favourites so check out his MySpace page for upcoming gigs and more about him.
Pieter is gigging around the country having recently returned from dates in Australia, so make sure you check him out when he performs in your area.
TIKI TAANE
Tiki embarked on his solo artist career in January 2007 and has gone from strength to strength, becoming one of New Zealand’s most popular and diverse award-winning artists renowned as much for his powerful live performances as he is for his anthems.
In November 07, he released his debut LP “Past Present Future” which achieved double platinum sales and saw his beautiful acoustic love ballad “Always On My Mind” rise to No. 1. This tune broke two all-time NZ records – it sat in the charts for a record 54 weeks and was also the first-ever digital single to achieve platinum sales. In July 09, Tiki released his remix album “FLUX” and currently is releasing his music in Australia as well as working on a new album for release in 2010 in NZ. Doubling as an audio engineer for top drum n bass groundbreakers Shapeshifter, Tiki is also renowned as a remix producer and gifted performance MC who has a solid reputation for boosting shows, musical works and recordings worldwide.

Optimus Gryme
Optimus Gryme is referred to by many as the pioneer for New Zealand Dubstep after releasing Aotearoa’s first ever Dubstep 12inch, first Dubstep solo EP and NZ’s first ever Dubstep album, all on his own label Optimus Gryme Recordings.
2009 was a huge year for Gryme. As well as selling out shows all over the country he also toured Oz last year with one of New Zealand’s leading musicians Tiki Taane.
With constant releases on his own label and collaborations with some of the biggest producers in the world, Optimus Gryme is definitely a name that you’ll be seeing alot of in the near future.
